What we collect
Files you upload. Audio files you submit for normalization, plus the settings you choose (output format, coordinate systems). We process files on our own server to convert them — that is the service.
Account data. If you register, we store your email address and a hashed password (we never store the password itself), your plan, and a list of your normalizations (file names, formats, feature counts, timestamps).
Guest use. If you convert without an account, we use a random cookie to tell your normalizations apart from other guests'. If you type an email address into the tool, we use it only to send you that normalization's result.
How long we keep files
Uploaded files and converted results are deleted automatically 72 hours after each normalization, together with the normalization record's file references. Backups do not include user files. Conversion metadata (file names, counts, formats) may be kept longer for accounting and abuse prevention.
What we never do
- We never sell or share your files or email address with advertisers or data brokers.
- We never open your files for any purpose other than normalizing them and diagnosing a normalization you asked about.
- We do not use your files to train models.
Payments
Subscriptions are sold by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle processes your payment details under its own privacy policy; we receive subscription status and a customer reference, never your card number.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting aggregate analytics to count page views and normalizations. Your uploaded files and their contents are never part of analytics.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what account data we hold about you, and ask for your account and its data to be deleted. Contact us through the feedback page and we will act on it within 30 days.
